14-Day Sea-to-Karoo-to-Mountain Tour

This 14-day journey is Flying Crane’s most expansive South African itinerary. From Cape Town’s iconic Table Mountain and Cape Point, you’ll cross rich wine valleys, remote Karoo landscapes, and the southern coast—blending big wildlife, vibrant towns, and the stories of the country’s First Peoples. Along the way, you’ll explore national parks, wander historic streets, connect to local farm life, and enjoy a true variety of food and cultural experiences.

The tour is structured for travellers who want depth, comfort, and authentic connections rather than a rushed checklist. Accommodation includes boutique hotels, lodges, and farmstays chosen for both quality and local character. Each day balances activities with downtime, avoids the crowds, and is guided by experts who care about ecology, heritage, and your personal experience.

We have designed this tour to take care of nearly everything for you from beginning to end. We include your accommodation and all planned activities, freeing you to simply enjoy the journey. The only items not covered are beverages and any personal purchases you may wish to make. This balance keeps things simple while still giving you a little flexibility along the way.
