10-Day Sea-to-Garden Route-to-Mountain Tour

This ten-day itinerary is built for travelers who want to see South Africa’s major highlights and its lesser-known gems without the crowds. Starting and ending in Cape Town, the journey moves from Table Mountain and Cape Point to remote Karoo farm country, through ancient San heritage sites, the winelands, and coastal forests. Along the way, you’ll experience game drives, small towns, culinary traditions, and a variety of South Africa’s natural wonders.

Each day connects you directly to the region’s stories, whether you’re touring an ostrich farm, crossing the Knysna lagoon, walking with rescued animals, or tracing the country’s cultural roots. Accommodation is selected for comfort, meals focus on quality regional food, and group sizes stay small to keep the experience personal. This trip is suited to curious travelers looking for depth, variety, and genuine connections to both people and place.

This tour has been designed so that nearly everything is taken care of for you from beginning to end. Your accommodation, most meals, and all planned activities are included, leaving you free to simply enjoy the journey. The only items not covered are two lunches, beverages, and any personal purchases you may wish to make. This balance keeps things simple while still giving you a little flexibility along the way.
